Temp to Perm

Circa 16 hours per week

Salary – Negotiable D.O.E.

Prince are working with a well-established business, based in Telford, to recruit for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant on a temp to perm basis. The role will be to provide support to the companies Accountant. It will be a nice, varied role.

You will be responsible for:

Preparation of VAT invoices.
Deal with incoming payments.
Chase debtors as required.
Cross-check all supplier invoices and prepare statements/ remittance advices.
Prepare Sterling and Euro BACS transfers for authorisation.
Updating financial records.
Purchase ledger.
Sales ledger.
Bank reconciliations.
Assist with preparation of all documentation for annual audit.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will need strong communication skills and attention to detail. They must also have experience on both sales and purchase ledger. The company use a bespoke system and full training would be provided. If someone holds an accredited accounting qualification then that would be beneficial but not essential.
