Our client, a leading name in the industry, is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their skills and grow within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

About the Role:

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team and ensuring the smooth operation of the financial processes. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, customer analysis and budget monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Conducting variance analysis and financial reporting.
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
Collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Supporting the preparation of financial statements and audit documentation.
Contributing to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance function.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
Experience within manufacturing highly desirable
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
