Job Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer for a maternity cover to help drive the creative process, working with the Head of Creative Services to develop and continually improve design output, across all media.
Working as a Graphic Designer your role will include:
Effectively interpreting creative briefs into great ideas and design concepts of the highest standard
Participation in briefing meetings to understand requirements
Balancing imagination with realistic implementation, whilst conforming to the Draper brand
Presenting work internally in a lucid and inspiring way
Championing ideas and creating an open environment which encourages design thinking
Developing and maintaining good working relationships with other departments within the organisation
Ensuring creative work is accurate and appropriate for the printing process or online systems
Ensuring deadlines are met and projects delivered to a quality standard
Essential Skills
Excellent craft skills in typography, layout and colour balance
The ability to turn concepts into print-ready artwork
Sound knowledge of both print and digital production
Investigative attitude to the world of marketing, advertising, design, and digital
Quality and time conscious with excellent attention to detail
Ability to take ownership of tasks, but still be a team member
Pro-active and willing to improve through self-development
Able to present work with passion and commitment
