Responsibilities Chef
The job is a blank canvas for a creative and ambitious chef to create his or her own menu to impress and delight the guests. In this role you will have total ownership of all areas of the kitchen involving menu design, budget control, ordering, stock control, cooking and presentation.
- Menu Design – create interesting, creative and flexible menus according to guest requirements
- Pre trip calls with guests- bespoke menu design, dietary requirements etc
- Staff dinners
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen, attention to hygiene standards
- Stock control
- Shopping
- Collation of invoices
- Keep eye on food cost and seek ways to economise
- Assisting chalet team on changeover days
Responsibilities Host
- Daily clean of communal areas and guest bedrooms
- Serving breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner with a high level of service and professionalism
- Deep clean of chalet on changeover days
- Resort driving service
- Responsible for cleanliness and basic maintenance of chalet vehicles
- Snow clearing
- Basic hot tub and spa maintenance

Requirements
- Experience in hospitality industry and luxury market
- High standard and knowledge of service and wine
- Team player- who is not afraid of hard work
- Eye for detail- level of cleanliness, standard of service
- ‘nothing too much trouble attitude’
- Over 21 years old
- Full manual driving license
Chef: Experience in Michelin standard kitchen, high end hotels or yachts. Or private work to a similar standard. Comfortable with fine dining and designing own menus.
