Area to be covered: London & Home Counties (4 days out on the road 1 day from West Drayton office)
Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + bonus £10,000 for every £1m turnover

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Plant Hire will involve:

Area Sales Manager role selling the hire and sales of plant hire equipment and machinery such as: Excavators, Dumpers, Dozers, Crushers, Trailers etc

All of your time selling to civil engineering companies, ground work contractors, main contractors, large infrastructure contractors & end users

Dealing with small – medium projects however do deal on larger infrastructure projects such as: HS2 & Heathrow Runway

Will have your own negotiable turnover target to hit initial

Majority of your time will be spent generating new business relationships however will have a smaller element of account management
The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager – Plant Hire with:

Must have plant hire sales experience
-
Must have sold to civil engineering companies, ground work contractors, main contractors, large infrastructure contractors & end users
-
Must have strong new business skills
-
Ideally dealt with larger scale project such as Heathrow and HS2
-
Ideally have people management skills however not essential

Plenty of energy, passion and self-motivation
-
Personable demeanour with excellent communication skills, both written and verbally

Computer literate
-
Full UK driving license
