Cleaner Location: Manchester, M2 5HD Reports to: Supervisor

Contract Length: 3 months

Hours of work - 17.00 to 20.30 / 3.5 hrs per day, 17.5 per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all allocated cleaning areas.
Adhere to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and materials.
Respond to initial call-outs for toilet blockages and resolve as needed.
Report any incidents, accidents, or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Notify the supervisor of any maintenance issues, such as light bulb replacements, leaking wash basins, etc.
Ensure proper compliance with all instructions regarding the use, storage, and handling of cleaning materials and equipment, including deliveries.
Carry out all cleaning duties as per the set schedule and maintain high standards as expected by VINCI.
Clean various surfaces, including hard floors, carpets, and upholstery, following VINCI-approved methods.
Empty and dispose of waste correctly, ensuring segregation and delivery to the designated waste collection area (e.g., recyclable, compactor, etc.).
Restock consumables in toilets, kitchens, and other areas to ensure a continuous supply.
Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials and reorder when necessary.
Operate electrical and battery-powered cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Address and remove pests and insects as necessary.

Skills & Experience:

Previous cleaning experience preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to report issues accurately.
Awareness of safety and hygiene standards.
