10-month contract

Mon – Thurs – 9am – 5pm and Fri 9am – 4pm (part-time hours may be considered)

Up to £28,000 per annum

We are working with a Telford based client who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the team covering maternity leave. The contract is due to last 10 months initially. The role will be to start ASAP.

You will be responsible for:

Sales Ledger
Purchase Ledger
Preparation of VAT returns
Bank Reconciliation
Month end journals (accruals and prepayments)
Prepare monthly management pack
Cash management

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will need to be immediately available and have experience of working in a similar role is essential.
