Our qualified and fully screened nannies provide care for families who love skiing and snowboarding in popular European resorts such as Meribel, Courchevel, Megeve, Chamonix, Val Thorens, La Clusaz, Grand Bornand, Morzine, St Anton, Lech and Ischgl. Merinannies are looking for experienced nannies for the 2024-25 ski season in France. This is a full-time or part-time role located in either of our resorts for the duration of the 2024-25 ski season.

(Please note we can only accept applications from candidates with an EU passport, (a UK passport or visa can be also considered), a working visa or a passport allowing you to work in France.

Key Role and Responsibilities

- Supervise and look after children or babies aged from 3 months to 13 years, either in their chalet or hotel, and outside in the ski resort.

- Entertain children indoors with age-appropriate activities and games. Take children outside to go sledging, play in the snow, go for walks, rides in gondolas.

- Prepare lunch and snacks

- Pick up children from ski school or kindergarten

- Change nappies and give baths when required and put to bed

- Communicate with parents and have an organized plan of activities including ski school picks and flexibility to work around the family schedule.

- Available for evening babysitting

We offer both full time and part-time positions so you can enjoy both skiing and working as a nanny.

Merinannies work with different families each week and the hours will vary, leaving time for you to enjoy the mountains.

Requirements

- At least 3 years paid childcare experience
- EU passport or working visa to enable you to work in these countries
- Advanced English speaking (other languages a plus)
- Must have accommodation in one of our resorts
- Two references or more
- Police check/DBS
- First Aid Certificate (preferable)
- Reliable, fun and able to work independently
