Temporary Hotel Maintenance Person required
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Person to join the team at one of our hotels located near Charing Cross Station. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proactive attitude and the technical skills to keep hotel facilities running smoothly.
Position Overview:
Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Person
Location: Near Charing Cross Station
Type: Temporary (2-3 weeks, with the possibility of extension)
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00/8:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM; Occasional weekend work may be required
Pay: £14.28 per hour + holiday accrual (paid weekly)
Start Date: Immediate
As a Hotel Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel operates smoothly by addressing repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and promptly resolving guest issues. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, comfortable, and high-quality environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and repairs on building systems

Address guest requests related to maintenance issues promptly and professionally

Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the hotel operates efficiently

Handle basic carpentry, painting, and equipment repairs as needed

Maintain safety standards and follow all relevant health and safety regulations

Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of hotel upkeep
Requirements:

Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably in a hospitality or hotel environment

Strong knowledge of general repair techniques and building systems

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively

Good communication and organizational skills

Flexibility to work occasional weekends
