Part-Time GP Receptionist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join my client as a part-time GP Receptionist.

Experience within a GP's is not required, however you must be calm and diplomatic and confident dealing with patients.

Hours of work:

Wed: 12.30 pm to 19.00 pm Thurs:11.00 am to 19.00 pm Fri: 10.30 am to 19.00 pm

These hours are set and will not be variable.

The person will be responsible for undertaking a varied range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the team.

Duties can include:

Greeting and directing patients Patient registration Booking appointments Processing of information (electronic and hard copy) Assisting patients as required Using the e-Referrals System to book patients in

To be successful in this role:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise workload
Excellent self-management flexible and quick to learn new skills and tasks
Proactive with a keen eye for detail
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional communicator
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as dealing with own specific work items.
Ability to multi task with experience in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
