We are a 4* family run hotel in the French Alps.
The role involves providing support to the Management Team and helping the team to maintain our high standards, as well as assisting with guest queries and around the chalet as required. You must be very computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft office and confident working with Apple computers. You will need to have excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills and be able to work within a team and also independently. You will also need to be confident dealing with telephone enquiries, a good level of French would be an advantage. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to work in any area of Chilly Powder when required to do so.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to produce weekly information such as rooming lists, timesheets, transfer schedules and guest bills
- Sending and processing holiday payment reminders
- Sending pre-arrival information to guests
- Answering general queries both at the chalet and over the telephone
- Ensure Chilly Powder daily and changeover standards of cleanliness and service are consistently maintained in all chalets
- Updating the Chilly Powder website and social media and producing regular video content for social media
- Regularly updating chalet availability on third party websites
- Producing a regular newsletter to be sent to the Chilly Powder database
- Making restaurant reservations for guests on the chalet staff night off
- Assisting with chalet changeover days in an enthusiastic way
- Have a very good eye for detail, both with administration and in checking and maintaining cleanliness of rooms and chalets
- Be professional, prompt and well presented at all times
- Learn and use guest names as often as possible
- Interact and show genuine interest in our guests at all times to create memorable holiday experiences
Due to the seasonal nature of the business, the role is 6 days a week.
