Head Chef, Soho London, £42k+ tips

Located in the heart of Soho, London, this Mexican taqueria restaurant offers authentic tacos in a fast-casual dining setting. All food is freshly prepared on site with handmade tacos and salsas and served fresh to order.

As the Head Chef/Chef Manager, you will be

experienced in running the day to day operation of a fast-casual restaurant
leading a team of 6 kitchen plus front of house staff as well as hands on in the kitchen when required
managing admin such as staff rotas and confirming hours to payroll
overseeing all food safety and health and safety as well as daily due diligence. Experience with the Trail app is a plus.

Opening hours are Monday to Sunday, 11:30 - 00:30 Working hours are approx. 45 hours per week on a shift rota including evenings and weekends

You as the ideal candidate would have

Proven experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef ideally in a fast casual restaurant setting
Good knowledge of Mexican Cuisine ideal
Kitchen/Chef background (essential)
Ability to lead, train and manage kitchen staff
Ability to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills for coordinating kitchen staff and front of house
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
High standards and attention to detail
Passion, enthusiasm with a positive attitude
