Software Engineer
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £40-45k

Due to our client's expansion plans, we are currently seeking 2 x Software Test Engineers to join their Software Engineering team. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing, integrating, and deploying software within our client’s systems.
Responsibilities include:
Developing new software features and applications within an Agile Software development framework.
Generating comprehensive technical documentation summarizing completed work.
Operating software-controlled hardware imaging, movement, and measurement components.
Investigating and resolving bugs in established and evolving software applications.
Collaborating on the breakdown of new software features into actionable work items and estimating associated time and complexity.
Maintaining and enhancing unit testing coverage to ensure software platform stability.
Coordinating with a multi-disciplined R&D team to ensure favourable product outcomes.
Proactively refactoring existing code to mitigate technical debt.Essential Experience:
2+ Years C#/.Net Development experience in a commercial setting (time spent on student projects or whilst studying will not be considered as eligible experience)Desirable Experience:
Familiarity with testing Windows desktop software applications (WPF).
Experience with SQL-backed applications.
Exposure to system APIs, firmware, and/or automated control systems.
Previous involvement in business-oriented Agile environments.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
Understanding and practice of working in, and testing solutions for, regulatory-compliant environments.Does this sound like the next step in your development career?
