The Opportunity:
We are looking for Management Accountant to join this business. This role will give the right candidate the opportunity to progress in the future within the business to other areas such as Commercial Business Partnering or FP&A.
They require a highly motivated and career focussed individual who is interested in getting involved in projects outside their role if required. This role will suit a Management Account looking for progression and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:

Produce monthly management accounts for review with senior management team

Production of robust monthly reporting with analysis of variances from budget and commentary

Analysis and development of operational KPIs to improve business performance

Provide effective commercial business partnering to Operational teams with the provision of value added informational and commercial decision support

Ad hoc analysis relating to past or future performance

Involvement in the yearly budget planning process

Assist in preparation of regular cashflow forecasts

Posting journals to capture accruals and prepayments at month end

Systems and process development and optimisation
Skills and Experience Required:
-
Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA

Experience of management accounts preparation, budgeting and forecasting as well as a grounding in accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations

Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload independently

Excellent IT skills and Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Highly competent in analysis and interpretation of information

Highly numerate with high degree of accuracy

You must be someone who enjoys problem-solving and have a detailed approach

Salary and Benefits:
