A well-established accountancy practice is currently recruiting for an Accountant to join its team within a varied role that is essentially acting as Client Manager for a key portfolio of clients.
This is an opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a small, friendly team, taking care of a portfolio of clients’ accounting requirements and providing valuable advice and answering queries.
As Accountant (Client Manager) your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a key portfolio of clients, leading client meetings, advising clients, and providing rapid responses to client queries
- Nurturing and developing relationships with new and existing clients
- Attend events to enhance your business development
- Preparation and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, corporation tax, VAT and personal tax
- Dealing with all company secretarial for clients
- Setting up limited companies
- Completing directors’ only payroll
We welcome applications form experienced accountants with the following:
- ACA/ACCA - 1 year post-qualified; strong newly qualified / finalist candidates will be considered
- Significant accounting experience gained within a practice environment
- Sound judgement and initiative to find solutions and make decisions under pressure
- Ability to self-manage and self-motivate
- Work well with others and be able to offer team support
- Good IT skills with experience of accounting software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This is an opportunity that will give the successful candidate a good amount of autonomy and responsibility where you can further develop existing skills and gain valuable experience.
