Type: Full-time
Shifts: Rotational 30-36 hours per week, starting 7am – 6.30pm (11.5-hour shifts) additional hours availabile as required.
About the Role:
Our client, a reputable care home in Shiplake, is seeking a skilled 2nd Chef to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis. This care home caters for three meals and snacks a day, serving up to 50 residents.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS
2/3 years’ experience as a care home 2nd Chef or Senior/Junior Sous Chef in the UK.
All relevant food safety certificates
Means of transportation to and from the workplace, Own transport required due to location.
Additional Information:
Location 20 min drive from Reading town centre, 20 min walk from Shiplake train station.
Shifts will vary on a weekly basis and will be on a rotational 35-hour week. 3 x 11.5 hour shifts, 7am to 6.30pm.
After the probation period, working hours will increase.
Registration with the agency will be required for interviews.
Weekly pay during the probation period, and a full-time contract will be offered upon completion.
