Our Junior Sous Chefs are accountable for kitchen operation including production, cleanliness and safe systems of work in a single kitchen and deputises in the absence of the Head Chef.
You will work alongside the team and ensure the food is received by the guest in a timely manner to the quality expected. What we need from you To succeed as a Junior Sous Chef, you will need:
• To have managed various sections of a kitchen for 3 or more years within a global hotel brand or restaurant of the same classification / cuisine (as minimum) with comparable size and complexity
• Junior Sous Chef must be experienced in local cuisine and have supported across a variety of service styles that may include catering meetings, social events, restaurants and bars
• As a minimum, must have completed level 2 Food Safety certification and working knowledge of HACCP
• Has knowledge of appropriate standards relating to food and the ability to create and deliver appropriate dishes to meet guest requests and needs Check out some of the amazing dishes we are creating on our Instagram page at:
