Initially you will be responsible for supporting the global sales team by interpreting new customer specifications and producing estimates, quotes and other documentation for a wide range of customers in the oil & gas, marine and power generation industries (amongst others). As you grow into the role, there could be opportunities to progress into an external sales role, working with both new and existing customers to sell these bespoke products for part of a wider engineering solution.
As this involves heavily engineered products you will need to be technical and bring a mechanical engineering qualification along with a few years’ experience as a Sales Engineer. As mentioned before, we have a fairly niche range so we don’t expect someone to have specific knowledge of our products, however, experience of large fabricated product sales will be preferable.
Salary is depending on your experience but will be in the range of £30,000 - £40,000. An annual bonus, genuine flexitime, company pension, and an early finish on Friday, all make this a good overall package. We will want to move quickly on this one and interviews can take place ASAP.
