Job Specification – Graduate Building Surveyor
Location: Consultancy Group (London/South East)

About the Role
My client a award winning Multidisciplinary Consultancy Group is seeking a motivated Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to develop their career in building surveying while working towards RICS chartership. You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of residential, commercial, and public sector projects, working closely with senior surveyors and project managers.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in conducting condition surveys, defect analysis, and measured surveys.

Support in preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.

Assist with contract administration and project management on refurbishment and maintenance projects.

Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.

Work on planning and building regulation applications.

Support clients with party wall matters, dilapidations, and insurance reinstatement valuations.

Attend client meetings and liaise with contractors and consultants.

Maintain detailed project records and reports.

Work towards achieving RICS chartership, with full APC support.
Requirements

Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited).

Keen to develop skills in surveying, contract administration, and project management.

Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

Full UK driving licence (desirable).
