BAR MANAGER / CLUB STEWARD - HOVE RUGBY CLUB JOB DESCRIPTION

Hove Rugby Club is a vibrant, welcoming community club & registered charity, located close to the centre of the town, in our facilities at the New Pavilion, Hove Recreation Ground, Shirley Drive, Hove. It’s just a 5 minute walk from Hove Station.

The club is a community hub for organised sport including Rugby, Cricket, Running and several other community activities. We are open most days during the rugby season (August to May), and less so, during the Summer months, with the exception of private function bookings including weddings, corporate, private parties and funerals. We are pleased to announce that we are now recruiting an experienced hospitality professional to be our new Bar Manager / Club Steward.

The successful candidate would work with our existing bar, facilities team and administrative Teams. The Club has an excellent reputation as a friendly, vibrant, inclusive and well run organisation and as we share our facilities with other community sports clubs, at times the bar & facility can be very busy with an 800+ membership, so any applicant must be able to react quickly and help us deliver the continued success of the club and our accessible, open & inclusive community sports mission. There is scope to develop and grow the role to help us develop the function business & club events calendar to grow our revenue to invest back into our community
