My client are seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join their team delivering key infrastructure projects on HS2. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in reinforced concrete (RC), earthworks, and heavy civils while working with a well-established civil engineering contractor.

Responsibilities:

Assist in setting out and surveying works using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment.
Support senior engineers in planning and supervising reinforced concrete, earthworks, and heavy civils operations.
Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and health & safety standards.
Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and reports.
Monitor progress against project schedules and contribute to problem-solving on-site.
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of works.
Maintain accurate site records, including material and equipment tracking.

Requirement:

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. (2:1 minimum)
Strong understanding of construction and engineering methods.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, surveying equipment, and site engineering techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one).
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
