Job Shop Recruitment have a great opportunity for someone to work with a Global client of ours based in Newton Abbot, they are currently looking to recruit for a Security Supervisor.
Our Client is looking for

Experience: Previous experience (typically 2+ years) in a security role, preferably managing a security team or security operations.

Communication and Leadership: The ability to lead, motivate and train a team and professionally and effectively communicate with team members, management, site staff and the emergency services.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient with security equipment such as CCTV and basic IT package and security management systems.

Additional Certifications: Some companies may prefer Security Supervisors with certifications such as first aid, CCTV operator, and health and safety; however, this is not necessary for the role

Supervise the security team – direct employees and contractors – to ensure appropriate site security 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Ensure all security systems (for example CCTV/ANPR/telephone/email/fire and intruder alarms etc) are fully functional and appropriately utilised by all team members

Ensure all site security policies and procedures are observed and adhered to

Ensure all site security policies and procedures are kept up to date and reviewed annually

Support and deliver required training on site security policies and procedures to new team members, and provide ongoing training as necessary

Provide a primary point of contact with contractor to ensure on site security cover is provided at all times

Support the enforcement of site parking rules and undertake traffic speed checks as required
