Join our team as an Assistant Accountant in the manufacturing industry, supporting a well-established company with a combined 30 years of experience in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations, working closely with the Company Accountant, Financial Controller and core team, supporting various functions such as Accounts Payable, Credit Control, and reporting. You will have the opportunity to contribute to management accounts, cashflow management, payroll and taxes including Corporation Tax.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the company's Accounts Payable and Credit Control processes. Collaborate with the reporting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Contribute to management accounts, taxes including CT, cashflow, and payroll. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Support the team in various ad-hoc financial tasks.

Requirements:

Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA, or AAT qualifications accepted Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Previous experience in a similar role. Proficiency in using accounting software. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
