Cleaning Operative – London

About the Role

As a Cleaning Operative, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality cleaning services across various spaces. Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
Cleaning washrooms, including descaling toilets and showers.
Managing waste disposal and ensuring recycling is handled correctly.
Conducting periodic cleaning (e.g., inside fridges or microwaves).
Handling spills, including those involving bodily fluids, safely and efficiently.
Following health and safety guidelines at all times.
Ensuring cleaning equipment is maintained, safe, and properly stored.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced: At least six months in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledgeable: Familiar with COSHH regulations and cleaning techniques.
Reliable: Able to work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
Committed: Ready to uphold high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and customer care.
Physically Fit: Comfortable with tasks involving manual handling, repetitive movements, and occasional outdoor work.

Basic English and math skills are required, along with the ability to understand and follow instructions.

This role may require a DBS check for certain locations. Shift work, including evenings and weekends, may also be part of the job.
