I’m working on behalf of a well-established regional practice in Barnsley, seeking a dedicated and skilled Accounts Manager to join the team. This role offers a clear route to partnership for the right candidate who can demonstrate their ability to lead both people and client engagements effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their accounting needs are met with precision and professionalism.

Requirements:

Strong experience in an accounting practice setting.
Proven experience in managing a team and overseeing a client portfolio.
Strong technical accounting skills and a thorough understanding of current accounting standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Ambitious and driven, with a desire to advance to a partnership role within the firm.
