Our client are looking for either a full time or part time cleaner (hours are normally between 9am and 5pm).

Pay rate is £11.86 per hour.

This role starts asap and is on an ongoing basis and could lead to a permanent position.

Details of the role are as follows:-

Working alongside and around the laboratory technicians to keep the lab and public areas clean, including restrooms and the warehouse. Clean and buff floors, empty bins. Clean worktops, benching and sink areas. Loading and unloading glassware from dishwashers and sterilizers. Clear the canteen area after each meal service, maintain the coffee machine and collect deliveries for the kitchen. Sweep and clean the warehouse floors. You must have the following skills and attributes:-

Attention to detail Be reliable and conscientious Have a good attendance record Good timekeeping abilities Adaptability Understanding of laboratory Health & Safety Ability to prioritise varied workload Must be able to work to set procedures COSHH A keen interest in science and/or biology would be desirablePlease apply asap as this role will start in the New Year.
