Software Engineer - £43,000 - Hybrid Title: Software Engineer Company: Space-tech Location: Stevenage Base pay: £43,000 Overview: A next-generation and R&D led Space-Tech firm have opened up an opportunity for a mid-level Software Engineer with C++ expertise to join a well-funded and established technical team. This is a fantastic chance for a mid-level developer to accelerate their career by working on bleeding-edge tech in a greenfield environment. The role:

Design and develop greenfield mission-critical systems in C++, as well as applications in Python
Champion modern software technologies to streamline development
Work with different teams to build large-scale on-board systems from the ground up About you:
C/C++ development for systems on Linux (essential)
Commercial use of Python (essential)
Very comfortable in a Linux environment (essential)
1-5 years' commercial development experience (essential)
Knowledge of Python libraries (desirable)
Development of high availability systems (desirable)
Linux kernel and device driver knowledge (desirable)
Must already live in the UK or be a British Citizen
