Software Development Engineer – C++, C#, Fortran – Guildford, UK

Location: Guildford, UK (Office-based)

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Algorithm Development: Create innovative and efficient algorithms to solve complex engineering problems.
Software Coding: Develop high-quality, robust code using C#, C++, C, .NET, Fortran, and Visual Studio.
Interface Design: Design functional, intuitive user interfaces that improve the end-user experience.
Software Testing: Ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of software in alignment with product development goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

An excellent academic background: PhD/MSc/1st or 2:1 degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Software Development: Proven experience in software development with expertise in C#, C++, Fortran, .NET Technologies, Visual Studio.
Analytical Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for engineering challenges.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
