Humanities Teacher - Wandsworth Fixed-Term Role - January 2025 Start until the End of the Academic Year (Thursdays and Fridays)

TimePlan Education is excited to be recruiting for a Humanities Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach History and Religious Studies at Key Stage 3, with the possibility of covering some Geography, in a supportive and welcoming school environment.

About the Role: This is a temporary role starting in January 2025 and running until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in History, Religious Studies, and potentially Geography. Planning and marking lessons in line with the curriculum and school expectations. Inspiring students to develop a passion for Humanities subjects. Supporting the school's ethos and values and contributing positively to the wider school community.About the School: This Wandsworth-based school has been rated Good by Ofsted and is known for its inclusive culture and commitment to excellence in education. The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Have experience teaching Humanities subjects at Key Stage 3 (History and Religious Studies essential; Geography desirable). Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students.
