Our client, a dynamic technology company established 5 years ago, has experienced exceptional growth, achieving an impressive £10m turnover. They are now seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded finance professional to make a significant impact while working closely with the CEO to drive the company’s future success.

The Role: As Finance Director, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the financial operations, providing strategic financial insight, and ensuring the company remains on a strong growth trajectory. This office-based role in Weybridge requires a hands-on approach and the ability to influence decision-making at the senior leadership level.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee the financial strategy to support business objectives.
Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analysis to the CEO and board.
Lead the financial planning process, ensuring accuracy and accountability across the business.
Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, and oversee cost control measures.
Provide advice on financial risk, tax strategies, and investment opportunities.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and oversee statutory reporting.
Work closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives, including potential mergers, acquisitions, or scaling opportunities.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.

The Ideal Candidate:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a senior financial leadership role.
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of supporting business growth.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Hands-on and detail-oriented, with a strategic mindset.
Previous experience within a technology or high-growth company is desirable.
