My client is a leading construction company specialising in high-end residential refurbishment, new build projects, and luxury hotel refurbishment. Their projects are design-and-build, with a strong focus on quality and detail. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join the team and contribute to a prestigious hotel refurbishment project within a listed building in Central London.
The Role:
This is a hybrid office-to-site-based role, requiring flexibility to work between the Brentwood office and project sites across Central and surrounding London areas. The successful candidate will initially be involved in the delivery of a significant hotel refurbishment project, with scope for involvement in future high-profile residential and hospitality projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing cost estimates and budgets for refurbishment and new build projects.

Managing procurement and tender processes.

Liaising with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure projects meet financial and quality benchmarks.

Monitoring costs, variations, and contractual agreements to maintain profitability.

Reporting on project progress, risks, and financials to senior management.

Collaborating with the project team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally in high-end residential or hotel refurbishment projects.

Experience working on design-and-build contracts.

Strong knowledge of refurbishment projects.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).

Full UK driving license.
