Job Title: Retail Assistant Location: Lancaster Hours: 39 hours per week Working Days: 5 out of 6 days Tuesday - Sunday, on a rota basis Shift Times: 08:30 - 16:30 / 09:00 - 17:00 37.5 hours

My client, a well respected company within the area, are searching for Customer focused retail assistant to assist their busy team. The role would be based within a vibrant trade shop in textiles and arts and crafts. The team are friendly, hardworking, and love to laugh. They pride themselves on creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting customers with their purchases and providing product information
Maintaining a clean and organised shop floor
Restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are attractive and well-presented
Handling cash and card transactions accurately
Participating in stock checks and inventory management
Supporting the team in achieving sales targets

Requirements:

Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Interest in textiles and arts and crafts is a plus
