We are looking for a dynamic chalet host with a commitment to guest satisfaction to join our team for the remainder of the 2024/25 winter season. Tasks & responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
1. Hosting guests and making sure they have everything they need at all times including any last minute concierge requirements such as booking restaurants, babysitters, ski lessons, massages etc.
3. Driving guests to and from slopes and around resort in a company minibus.
4. Cooking & serving breakfast 5 days per week
5. Baking cakes and savouries for afternoon tea, preparing aperitifs and canapes 5 days per week.
6. Preparing & serving a gourmet 2 course dinner 5 nights per week. This is a collaborative effort with key elements of the meal being prepared in our centralised prep kitchen by 2 professional chefs.
7. Washing up after all meals.
8. Cleaning & room servicing to the highest of hygiene standards.
9. Miscellaneous things including, shopping, laundry, maintenance etc.
10. Adhering to a budget and managing stock levels of food, wine, cleaning products etc.
11. Adhering to all of the sustainability practices including recycling, composting and measuring and reducing waste.
12. Working as part of a team and treating co-workers with kindness and respect.

Requirements
Essential criteria:
- Minimum age of 21 with at least
- 3 years previous professional experience (the specific industry is not so important).
- Excellent level of spoken English
- Valid manual driving license the allows you todrive in Europe
Useful skills and experience:
- Housekeeping or cleaning experience with good attention to detail.
- Hospitality or customer service experience
- Previous cooking experience – at least one person in the couple/pair needs to be an experienced and competent home cook with a passion for good food and the confidence to cook for 10-12 people (with training). Previous professional cooking experience would be an advantage but is not necessary.
- Strong organisational skills, project management, people management, time management and problem solving skills are all an advantage.
