Join Our Team as a Year 1 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Aspire People Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 1 student at a welcoming school in Great Barr. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a young child's education! Role Overview:

Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Year 1)
Location: Great Barr, West Midlands
Start Date: 6th January 2024
End Date: 28th March 2024 (with potential for extension if needed)
Type: Temporary (Maternity Leave cover) About the Role: This role is to cover a TA who is going on maternity leave. The successful candidate will work closely with a Year 1 student, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and socially. Your role will involve:
Offering 1:1 support to a child with specific learning needs
Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring the child is engaged
Supporting the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and routines
Encouraging independence, confidence, and social skills development About You:
Experience working with children, ideally in a 1:1 or support role
Passionate about helping children reach their full potential
Patient, compassionate, and proactive
A great communicator with staff, students, and parents
