Management Accountant Required - Birmingham
My client has experienced a period of growth and now requires additional support within the Finance function, they are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join the business in a varied and challenging role. This is a hands-on role that also incorporates all aspects of bookkeeping, Payroll, management accounts, and ad hoc business management/admin responsibilities.
Suited to a rounded Finance Manager who can multitask and jump in where needed, no responsibility is beneath the ideal candidate and they are committed to encouraging the ongoing growth of the business. You must be able to complete work to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail.

Day to Day responsibilities:

Prepare Monthly Management accounts

Present Monthly Management Accounts
-
Weekly reporting to Management Team
-
Maintain accurate records
-
Payroll including overtime, pensions, and maintaining records

VAT returns and HMRC queries
-
Credit control
-
Cashflow monitoring and Financial Forecasting

Assisting the management team in key decision-making
Your experience and requirements:
-
Experience in a construction or Project management firm

Experience in a similar role
-
Preferably holding a formal Accountancy Qualification, AAT or CIMA - Those QBE encouraged to apply
